Nick Warne F.C.A., A.T.I.I.
Based in our Northampton office, Nick is our Managing Partner. He joined the firm in 1987 and became a partner in 1988.
Nick has been instrumental in developing Cottons tax department and spearheaded the expansion of the practice into Northampton and Oxford. Nick is a member of both the Institute of Chartered Accountants and the Institute of Taxation.
Richard Wilch F.C.C.A.
Richard has worked in the profession in Northampton since 1982, qualifying in 1987 before moving to Cottons Daventry office in 1989.
Working as a general practitioner with a bias towards corporate taxation, his initial role was of Manager and assistant to the then Senior Partner, rising to Partner in 1994.
Dave Ingram F.C.C.A.
Dave joined Cottons in March 1987 as a Trainee Accountant. Whilst qualifying he progressed via Senior Accounts Assistant through to Manager. He managed the team that moved to Northampton in 1991 for the opening of the firm’s second office. Dave has been a partner since July 1999.
Since April 2002 he has been responsible for the development of the firm’s third office in Banbury and following the rapid expansion of the office, Dave is now based permanently in Banbury.
Dave is also the firm’s personnel partner for all three offices.
Mark Palmer A.C.A
Mark joined Cottons Daventry office in October 1998 as a senior manager, having qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 1994.
He specialises in both corporate and personal tax planning and also heads our company law department. Mark became a partner in April 2001 and with the expansion of the firm now runs our Rugby office.
David Smith A.C.A.
Since becoming a Partner in 2004, David has been based in our Northampton office. He joined the firm in 1995 and become our first trainee to qualify as a Chartered Accountant in 1999.
Originally from an auditing background he now specialises in the implementation and review of computerised accounting and management information systems. Consequently he now heads our Information Technology department, controlling both internal and external IT functions.
Lisa Malone F.C.C.A., C.T.A.
Lisa joined Cottons in 1987 as a trainee accountant qualifying in 1994. Following a brief spell working elsewhere Lisa returned to Cottons in 2003 and went onto pass the Chartered Institute of Taxation examinations in 2004. Lisa became a Partner at the Daventry office in 2008.
Whilst having a broad background in accountancy Lisa now specialises in personal and corporate tax matters.
