Committed to Rugby
We take a great pride in being part of the Rugby business community and want to support local businesses by saving them time, keeping them tax efficient and giving them a value for money service. A stone’s throw away from Rugby’s Clock Tower, our office is at the heart of Rugby town centre with dedicated parking for our clients. Our central location allows us to keep our finger on the pulse of what is happening in and around Rugby.
In 2008, Cottons’ Partner, Mark Palmer who joined the firm originally in 1998 and made Partner in 2001, opened the doors to our Rugby branch in the town’s Albert Street.
Mark’s Rugby branch started out as a team of 6. They had the desire to understand the needs of local businesses and the impact that operating in and around Rugby had on them, all to ensure they could develop an effective accounting practice. The Rugby office has active links with the local business community; connections which are of utmost importance when it comes to how they manage and assist clients in the local area.
Since those early days the team has grown significantly. The branch now has 27 members and is led not only by Mark but also by fellow Partners, Dave Ingram and Emma Reid, both of whom have been with Cottons for the majority of their careers.
To support their growth, 2013 saw the move into Chestnut Field House, together with the Cottons Corporate Finance and Cottons Cloud Accounting teams.
