Making Tax Digital & Cloud Accounting – 20th Feb

February 20 @ 6:00 pm - 7:30 pm

Free

We are now entering the final countdown to the introduction of Making Tax Digital
- the biggest change in the UK tax system in over 20 years.

From April 2019, VAT registered businesses with annual turnover above £85,000 will need to be ready to file their VAT returns directly to HMRC via digital software, rather than using HMRC’s gateway. There are further plans to roll out the digital recording to those with turnover under £85,000 potentially from April 2020.

The question is, are you ready yet?

We would recommend that businesses of all sizes join the event. The sooner you take steps to make your records compliant, the less impact the forthcoming changes will have on your business and the quicker you can start to enjoy the benefits.
The easiest and most beneficial way to deal with the new regime is to adopt a cloud accounting software package.
Our seminar will show you how to not only survive the changes but for your business to use the changes to thrive by embracing the digital world and the benefits that come with it.
There are many more reasons to move to cloud accounting than those being driven by HMRC.

The seminar will:

• Explain Making Tax Digital
• Discuss the benefits of cloud accounting
• Discuss the cloud solutions - Sage, Xero & QuickBooks
• Showcase Xero in full
• Demonstrate various apps that integrate with cloud software in order to save you time
