In this newsletter, we have details on important changes and the latest updates from our teams.

The introduction of the VAT domestic ‘reverse charge’ for building and construction services comes into effect from 1 October 2019.

This is an important change for all organisations working in the construction industry and has brought tax back into the spotlight within the sector.

The impact of these changes are wide-ranging; it is crucial for organisations operating within the construction industry to start planning now, to ensure they are ready for the changes.

What our Partners do at weekend…

Over 300 riders took part in the Daventry Cycle Sportive on Sunday including Cottons Partner Lisa Malone!

With 4 routes to choose from, cyclists could take part in a more gentle, family friendly 10-mile family ride, a short 30-mile route or for those wanting more of a challenge, a 70 and 100-mile option.

As once again proud sponsors of this event, all those who entered were given a free Cottons sports bottle and rucksack before they crossed the start line.

This was a fantastic event for both cycling and the nominated charity this year – the Friends of Danetre Hospital whose aim is to raise funds to provide additional equipment and facilities for patients and staff at Danetre Community Hospital that cannot be provided by the NHS.
